The Pilot’s Watch Automatic Spitfire is held in the purist instrument design of the Navigation Clock Mark 11, which was manufactured in 1948 in Schaffhausen for the British Royal Air Force. In this functional timepiece, the new IWC manufacture caliber 32110 is used for the first time. The sturdy automatic movement has a two-sided catch jack, which builds a power reserve of 72 hours.
This watch is presented in a very portable diameter of 39 millimeters. The stainless steel case, the black dial and the green textile strap are inspired by the color of the cockpit of a Spitfire. An inner cage made of soft iron effectively protects the movement from magnetic fields.
