The founder of the famous legendary Museum Watch was born in Russia and emigrated to the United States as a child. The original Museum Watch, designed in 1947, has first been manufactured by Vacheron & Constantin-Le Coultre Watches, Inc., Switzerland and then was added to the permanent collection of the Museum of Modern Art in 1960.
