The Portofino Perpetual Calendar is equipped with the legendary perpetual calendar developed by Kurt Klaus in the 1980s. With a diameter of just 40 millimetres, this watch is the smallest perpetual calendar in IWC’s portfolio. This version has an 18-carat red gold case, an argenté-coloured dial and gold-plated hands and appliqués.
The sophisticated mechanism is mechanically programmed to recognise the different lengths of the months as well as the leap years. It runs completely autonomously, without any manual adjustments, until the year 2100. The IWC Manufacture calibre 82650 can be viewed through a transparent case back.
