With the Yacht Club Moon & Tide, IWC Schaffhausen presents for the first time a completely newly developed display of the tides on watches from the Portuguese family. An auxiliary dial installed at 6 o’clock shows exactly when the tide is expected to rise. The corresponding moon-phase display at 12 o’clock has been expanded to include the function of displaying jumping and neap tides. This means that not only the time of the tide change can be read, but also its respective strength.
The 18-carat pink gold case, the blue dial, the gold-plated hands and appliqués in 18-carat gold underline the maritime character of this watch. The IWC Manufacture Calibre 82835 has a Pellaton winding system with ceramic components and offers a power reserve of 60 hours.
