The 1960s were a decade of experimentation, fun, freedom and energy. Whether you were going for a spin on a motorcycle or stepping on the gas in a sports car, life was in full swing. Willy Breitling sensed this change in pace and set out to develop an unconventional chronograph that captured the momentum of the era. He called it the Top Time.
This spirited tradition continues today with the Top Time B01, which features a perforated leather strap, tachymeter scale and contrasting “squircle” dials (not quite square, not quite round) to evoke the special atmosphere of a classic dashboard. In addition, it has an engine under the hood that is impressive: the extraordinary Breitling manufacture caliber 01.
