At that time, Longines developed a case with waterproof pushers for the legendary caliber 13ZN and patented this creation. Later, the brand with the winged hourglass was responsible for numerous other developments, which finally culminated in the launch of its first ‘civilian’ diver’s watch in 1958 and, in the course of the 1960s, in the production of further models of this genre.
