The white dial of this watch, inspired by spacesuits and the legendary ALASKA I prototype from 1969, features contrasting black details and a glossy lacquer finish – a notable first for the Moonwatch with its stepped dial.
The trademark “Speedmaster” is written in bright red, while the red tip of the second hand stands out against the pure white background. These design elements pay homage to the protective casing of the ALASKA I and the red stripes on the commanders’ spacesuits. The bracelet clasp, which provides additional comfort, presents a polished OMEGA logo on the satinised cover. This 42-mm Moonwatch made of stainless steel is held on the wrist by a micro-perforated black leather strap with red and white stitching.
