The original Black Bay was first presented in 2012 and equipped with a manufacture movement in 2016. It is now available in a third generation that clearly demonstrates the aesthetic and technical future of the line. In addition to the third-generation Black Bay with a burgundy-coloured bezel, this new model has a monochrome look with a deep black dial and applied rhodium-plated indices and hands for a modern aesthetic.
The manufacture movement calibre MT5602-U, with which the Black Bay is equipped, displays the hours, minutes and seconds functions. It corresponds to the typical appearance of TUDOR manufacture movements with a special radial design.
The bridges bear the words “Master Chronometer” to emphasise its special performance.

Tudor has identified the historic uses of its watches and reinterpreted them in its latest models.
For example, the French Navy had TUDOR watches delivered without bracelets and then fitted them with their own straps, handmade or otherwise. One of them has been found with a strap made of elastic fabric taken from a French rescue parachute.
