The famous diver watch Black Bay by TUDOR is also available in yellow gold and stainless steel since 2017. Equipped with the manufacture movement caliber MT5612, the model Black Bay S & G introduces the date function in the Black Bay line. Heritage Black Bay’s signature elements are anchored in TUDOR’s history.
It adopts the general lines as well as the domed dial and watch glass of the first TUDOR diver watches. The model features the particularl distinctive winding crown of the famous reference 7924 of 1958, known as the Big Crown. In addition, it takes over the characteristic angular hands, called snowflake hands, from the watches which were delivered in large quantities to the French Navy in the 1970s.
The varied collection stands out with the soft, warm patina of antique watches. All models have a 41mm case diameter.

Tudor has identified the historic uses of its watches and reinterpreted them in its latest models.
For example, the French Navy had TUDOR watches delivered without bracelets and then fitted them with their own straps, handmade or otherwise. One of them has been found with a strap made of elastic fabric taken from a French rescue parachute.
