How long do I have a warranty?

Each watch manufacturer offers different warranty periods. The official international manufacturer’s warranty is at least 2 years. Individual brands sometimes have a significantly longer warranty. What does my warranty cover?

The guarantee for your watch generally covers manufacturing and material defects, such as on the movement, hands or dial. Damage caused by improper use, lack of care, accidents or normal wear and tear (e.g. bracelets, batteries, etc.) is not covered by the guarantee.

Can I exchange an item with you?

Yes, you can exchange an unworn item for another product or a voucher within 14 days. We are at your disposal for further questions or support. You can reach us by telephone on +41 44 262 04 10 or by e-mail at [email protected]

What can I do if the ring I ordered does not fit?

Every finger is different. We take the time to determine your individual ring size and customise your ring accordingly. Visit us or contact us on +41 44 262 04 10 or by e-mail at [email protected].

How long does it take to dispatch an order?

Next to all products you will see an indication of the availability of the item. If the item is in stock, you will receive it within the next 2-3 working days. If the item is not available, you are welcome to press ‘Request availability’ and use the contact form that pops up. We will answer you within a short time.

Is the order sent ‘registered’ and is it insured?

Yes, your order will always be sent to you by registered post for security reasons. If you are unable to accept the parcel on delivery, the postman will leave you a collection slip which you can use to collect the parcel from the post office. The parcels are fully insured until you sign for them.

 

Do you also ship abroad?

Yes, we can send items to the EU or the United Kingdom. Delivery remains free of charge. However, please note that we officially export the goods and additional costs may be incurred due to customs duties.

How high are the shipping costs?

We offer free delivery in Switzerland, the EU and the United Kingdom. For shipments outside Switzerland, customs duties may apply depending on the destination country and the value of the goods. Further information can be found on the website of the respective customs authority.

How long does the delivery take?

We deliver quickly and reliably! Within Switzerland, you will receive your order in a maximum of 2-3 days. To the EU or the United Kingdom it usually takes 2-7 days. For shipments outside Switzerland, customs duties may apply depending on the destination country and the value of the goods. Further information can be found on the website of the relevant customs authority.

Can I also collect my order from your shop?

We cordially invite you to collect your order from our shop in Zurich. This way, we can get to know each other personally and you can see the quality of our products for yourself. We will of course take time for you and adjust the bracelet of your new watch.

How can I track my order? (Tracking information)

As soon as your order is ready for dispatch, you will receive an e-mail from us with the Swiss Post tracking number. This allows you to conveniently track the status of your consignment online.

What happens if I am not at home when the delivery is made?

If you are not at home at the time of delivery, Swiss Post will leave you a pick-up invitation. You can use this to collect your parcel from your nearest post office within 7 days.

I have seen an article that unfortunately no longer seems to be available. What can I do?

Do you buy watches?

No, in principle we do not buy watches directly. However, we offer our customers the option of giving us the watch on consignment so that we can then sell it for you. We will be happy to inform you of the exact conditions by telephone on +41 44 262 04 10 or by e-mail to [email protected].

Do you offer valuations?

Yes, we offer valuations for watches as well as jewellery. You can also bring us items or brands that were not purchased from us. Our experts will be happy to provide you with a valuation.

Do you also offer gift vouchers?

Yes, we offer gift vouchers that are valid indefinitely and can be for any amount.

How much does it cost to customise a steel bracelet?

Fitting is always free of charge for the brands we represent. For other brands the fitting costs CHF 30.

What does a battery change cost?

Changing a watch battery (e.g. for wristwatches) costs CHF 35, which includes a small cleaning and a water resistance test in addition to the change itself.

Do you offer engraving?

Yes, we offer all kinds of engraving services. We are experts in engraving watch backs, rings and other pieces of jewellery. If you have a transparent case back on your watch, we can also engrave it as you wish.

Can I also have jewellery made by you?

Yes, we work together with an experienced goldsmith and will be happy to help you create your individual piece of jewellery.

 

Do you offer repair services?

Yes, we offer jewellery and watch repairs. In order to be able to provide you with a reliable cost estimate, it is necessary to have the watch or piece of jewellery inspected in our workshop.

Do you also repair vintage watches?

Yes, we can also repair vintage watches. In order to be able to provide you with a reliable cost estimate, the watch must be inspected in our watch workshop.

Do you offer valuations?

Yes, you have the option of 0% financing from an order value of at least CHF 1000. You can choose between 12 or 24 monthly instalments. The maximum financing amount is CHF 10,000. Is it possible to terminate the financing prematurely?

Yes, you can terminate the financing prematurely at any time. The best way to do this is to contact Heylight support directly. ([email protected])

Can tourists shop ‘tax free’ with you?

Yes, this is possible. We can provide you with the necessary documents for the refund on site.
