For the first time, IWC presents a pilot chronograph with a movement from the 69000 caliber family and a reduced case diameter of 41 millimeters (previously 44 millimeters). The IWC manufacture caliber 69380 is a robust chronograph movement in classic column wheel design. It shows the stopped hours and minutes on two sub-dials at “9 o’clock” and “12 o’clock”. The two-sided catch lift builds up a power reserve of 46 hours.
Featuring a stainless steel case, a black dial and a green textile strap, this functional chronograph is inspired by the cockpit color of a Spitfire. An inner cage made of soft iron effectively protects the movement from magnetic fields. Of course, this model is also available on a brown leather strap.
