The sunburst dial in OMEGA’s own Summer Blue has a PVD coating and a lacquered colour gradient that symbolises the watch’s water-resistance. It features rhodium-plated hands, indices in the shape of boat hulls filled with a unique light blue Super-LumiNova, and a blue date display at 6 o’clock.
On the back of the watch is an embossed commemorative Seamaster logo showing a Poseidon with a trident and two seahorses: OMEGA’s original 1956 design and current brand emblem. Behind it is OMEGA’s Co-Axial Master Chronometer Calibre 8800, certified by the Swiss Federal Institute of Metrology (METAS) to the highest standards in the industry.
