The sunburst dial in OMEGA’s own Summer Blue features a colour gradient that symbolises the watch’s water-resistance. The vertical “teak” stripes and rhodium-plated hands and indices are filled with a unique light blue Super-LumiNova.
Surrounding the dial is a ring of silver printed worldwide cities. In the centre is a 24-hour ring made of glass. The light blue colour indicates the daytime hours, the dark blue colour the nighttime hours. The view of the earth with a blue ocean and a relief of the continents was created by laser on a plate of titanium grade 5.
