OMEGA’s maritime heritage was the guiding principle behind the launch of the Planet Ocean collection in 2005. Today, the stylish 600M design still pays homage to the brand’s legacy in diving watches.
This GMT model features a 45.5mm silicon nitride ceramic case. The material, which is two times lighter than zirconium ceramic, is complemented by sandblasted Grade 5 titanium for the helium escape valve and bezel. The latter includes an inner ring made of silicon nitride.
The dial is also made of grade 5 titanium. In addition to some orange details and a date window at 3 o’clock, it is equipped with blackened hands and indices that are filled with white Super-LumiNova for better readability in the dark.
The watch is held on the wrist by a black and gray textured rubber strap with a grade 5 titanium clasp and is powered by the Co-Axial Master Chronometer Caliber 8906 Titanium. The unique and ultra-light movement is located behind a NAIAD LOCK case back with anti-reflective sapphire crystal on both sides and chrome nitride markings.
