The Pilot’s Watch Automatic Spitfire is held in the purist instrument design of the Navigation Watch Mark 11, which was manufactured in 1948 in Schaffhausen for the British Royal Air Force. In this functional timepiece, the new IWC manufacture caliber 32111 is used for the first time.
This timepiece is presented in a very portable diameter of 39 millimeters. The bronze case, olive green dial and brown calfskin strap give the timepiece a unique character. The bronze develops an individual patina over time. An inner cage made of soft iron effectively protects the movement from magnetic fields.

With a clear focus on technology and development, the Swiss watch manufacturer IWC Schaffhausen has been producing timepieces of lasting value since 1868.
The easy-to-read and clearly structured dial skilfully continues the design language of IWC's Portuguese customers known since the 1930s and complements it with another timeless piece of jewellery.
